For nearly seventy years, Roanoke Valley Rescue Squad has stood ready to answer the call—day or night, rain or shine. Founded in 1956 by dedicated community volunteers, our mission remains the same today: to provide rapid, life-saving emergency medical and rescue services to the citizens of Halifax County and surrounding communities.

Our team of trained first responders, EMTs, and rescue specialists work tirelessly to ensure that help is always close at hand when it’s needed most.
